WORKSHOP: Printmaking with Laura Zaveckaite and Daina Mattis

In conjunction with the exhibition Tevyne/Patria, Sla307 Art Space is hosting a printmaking workshop to contextualize the building's rich history as a printing house, releasing books, pamphlets and weekly newspapers.  The vast collection of Intaglio plates, housed in the building's archives, emphasize the significance of printmaking through the union of image and word. Sla307 will present intaglio printmaking examples, hands on demonstrations and their connection to the historic building, SLA, it's archive and the greater Immigrant Lithuanian Community of America.  Recommended ages: 10-17.
